I ordered the xbox on Friday and it ended up getting here around Wednesday evening the box was slightly beat up but it did come in the original box but the console itself is very quiet looks amazing almost brand new you couldn’t even tell its refurbished at all

I bought this Xbox X for my husband’s Christmas gift 2023! He loves it and it works great, there are no issues to report at this time. A lot of space for games and other apps. It has never crashed on us like other reviewers have reported. I was a little afraid to purchase because of the reviews but, I’m glad I did. That’s not to say all of the refurbished Xbox X will work as great as ours but this review is about what product I received and I am very satisfied.

Refurbished Machine just crashes. Defective.
UPDATE: The defective machine I received was shipped back to Amazon as a return and and was received on 10/20. It is now 11/13 and Amazon has yet to refund my money. I have reached out to Amazon customer support multiple times and to this point, they have been unwilling to help. In fact, the last person I worked with basically told me to wait till 11/24.MY RECOMMENDATION: Proceed with caution. I had so much trust in Amazon to make things right before this. Not as much anymoreâ¦I purchased this machine because I saw that it was on sale on Prime Day for $399. I figured it was a great deal so I read up on the âAmazon Renewedâ items and felt that if Amazon says they inspect and test these items that it would work so I went ahead.Two days later my system arrived. I spent the time unpacking, hooking up and installing the system. After some time I was able to download and install a couple games and attempted to play. Each and every game crashed. Some times the game would crash and send me back to the Home Screen, some times it would crash the entire system completely. I tried resetting the system, looking for updates and all the other troubleshooting steps to get things working with no luck.Ultimately, I gave up. I figured I had wasted enough of my time and contacted Amazon to return it. I will not be buying another unit from Amazon, new or âRenewedâ as all the time wasted on this experience has soured me on them. Iâll just bite the bullet and buy one local.At the end of the day I would say to think long and hard on buying one of these renewed systems. I seriously doubt much quality control is being done as I was just shipped out a broken unit and wasted a ton of my time trying to get it to work.

Got it set up immediately when I received it, have had it for a few months with no issues. The xbox UI is almost the same as the xbox 1 so if you are upgrading there will be no big difference in UI, but does have some new features.

Broke down in 3 days
I ordered this refurbished Series X during Prime days. It is the same Microsoft refurbished Series X you get on the official Xbox website. I didnât know that until I received the package which is a sealed Microsoft Series X refurbished package.Aesthetically everything was in very very good conditions. The controller looked brand new.It worked fine for about 3 days then it shutdown during a game session and refused to restart. I tried unplugging it, pressing the power button for 30 secs, change outlet ⦠nothing. The console would turn on for a sec and immediately shutdown again.It appears itâs a known power supply issue if Reddit is to be believed, pretty common on earlier units. The one I received had a service date sticker of Mar 2022 if it makes any difference and I would hope theyâd have fixed it.Anyway I returned it less than 4 days since delivery, I wouldnât mind trying a second one just in case I was unlucky but without the extra Prime Days discount itâs just not interesting to me and there was no option for a replacement just for a refund.My experience with this has been bad, a refurbished console should be able to work for more than 3 days of light use, I doubt I had more than 1 hour of play a day out of it aside initial setup.This was sold and shipped by Amazon so not sure whoâs to blame ⦠this refurbished business seems to be very hit or miss (bought an Amazon Premium Renewed OLED Switch months ago and that has had no issues but a refurbished One X from 3rd party would overheat in minutes and now this refurbished Series X breaking down so soon â¦. very very frustrating and disappointing)

Everything was good , itâs not like renewed itâs like new ! They did amazing job . Iâm using it and playing games like for a motorsports EAFC , Warzone exc. and it has no problem .

The reason I originally bought this refurbished console was because I really didn’t want to pay full price for something that would see limited use, that ended up being a mistake. Now this may be a rare occurrence but the console didn’t function properly right out of the box causing a bunch of headaches so much so that I ended up returning it and buying a brand new series x because of the issues. My advice would be if you’re interested in a series X just spend the extra hundred or so dollars and get a new one or wait until they come up on sale. It will save you a bunch of headaches in the long run.
